The Great Malvern Food Festival
The Town will host its 4th food festival on Bank Holiday Monday 26th May 2014 and it will be a day packed full of delicious events including cookery demonstrations, food stalls and street entertainment.
This great, free event will take place in the grounds of Great Malvern Priory Church. There will be a demonstration featuring Felice Tochinni, a highly acclaimed chef from the Fusion Brasserie in Worcester who has appeared on television many times.
Also appearing is Robert Swift, one of the UK’s leading bread makers who will share the secrets of baking perfect bread. There will demonstrations of vegetarian, Egyptian and Asian cuisine plus examples of how to cook great food on a budget. There will also be activities for children and entertainment from local musicians and street entertainers.
The Malvern Munch! Food Walk is a new addition to the Bank Holiday weekend. On Sunday 25th May you can enjoy a leisurely 6 mile walk round the Hills and taste the best in local food and drink whilst listening to live music at stops along the way. Tickets cost £20 and are available from Malvern Tourist Information Centre. This walk is already creating a lot of interest so early booking is advised.
