The Chase School is excited to have the opportunity to exhibit the fantastic art work of our most recent year 11 and year 13 leavers in Edith Walk exhibition frames. The students have had to deal with continuous disruptions to their studies due to the pandemic throughout their courses. Despite this they have all worked incredibly hard to remain focused during online lessons as they did when back in the classroom, where they all successfully produced portfolios of artwork in line to achieve excellent grades for both GCSE and A Level Art & Design last August. As well as a chance for the students to see their work exhibited publicly, it also enables us to showcase to the wider community the quality of work produced by our hard-working students and how they all manage to find their own individual paths when completing final pieces on their chosen topics, using a skill set they feel they are strongest in at the latter stages of the course. The exhibition is there for all to enjoy until January 2022. We would lastly like to thank Nick Browne (Nick Browne Photography) for all his help and advice in photographing and printing the art work for us.
‘Thank you for cheering my day. The work of your students on display in Church Walk is amazing, I love the variety of styles and subjects. Please congratulate your students’ – email from member of the public
