Fine dining food

Native is a farm to table restaurant with rooms within the Netherwood Estate located on the Herefordshire-Worcestershire border.  Offering hyper seasonal, modern British, fine dining.

Their menus are all about bringing together the best of what they grow, forage, and create into one unforgettable dining experience. Taking inspiration from the wealth of ingredients found within their smallholding garden, the surrounding landscape and wonderful local suppliers, as they work together to bring the beauty of nature to your plate.

Those looking to relax and soak up the sights of the Malvern Hills are invited to stay, on one of Native’s dinner, bed and breakfast packages. There are two incredibly cosy bedrooms in the courtyard garden. Both rooms feature a super king size bed and luxury ensuite shower room, with a view across the courtyard to the restaurant: the perfect way to relax and make your visit truly special.

About the Founders Ivan Tisdall-Downes & Imogen Davis:

Culinary Nomads: Native founders Ivan Tisdall-Downes and Imogen Davis first met at university in Brighton. They shared a dream to, in the former’s words, “Give a Native experience of feeding from the land,” through a restaurant. Starting with markets and pop-ups, the pair soon found themselves with a tiny, but acclaimed, tasting menu restaurant in Neal’s Yard, Covent Garden. In 2018 they moved to Borough, after having their application for a permanent lease denied and turning to Kickstarter to fund something bigger and better. Once Covid struck in 2020, much like the ethos of changing with nature, the team was reborn once more on Osea Island where they were able to put into place their dream of helping work towards creating a closed-loop restaurant system.

In 2021 Native moved back to the city to their new permanent home at Browns Fashion in Mayfair within a Grade II* listed building. Ivan Tisdall-Downes and Imogen Davis champion British wild produce with a seasonal foraged focused menu. As of May 2024 the team have set up home within the previous Michelin Star Pensons restaurant space that is located within the Netherwood Estate located on the Herefordshire-Worcestershire border.

In 2020 Ivan appeared on series 13 of Great British Menu, representing London and the South East.
