Astley Vineyard 2

Astley Vineyard’s tours are an extremely popular way to find out about everything this award-winning wine producer located in the stunning Malverns countryside has to offer. But with tours regularly selling out, the Haywood family has launched a new self-guided Walk & Wine tour as an alternate way to access the vineyard and spend a peaceful afternoon with friends & family in the beautiful Worcestershire countryside.

The walk takes you through the estate’s pretty woodland and stream, then up to the five acres of vines to a seating area with fabulous views towards the Clent Hills. Then you stroll back to the tasting room  and shop to try a glass of two wines. Walking at a leisurely pace, the tour lasts about 30 minutes.

Tickets are £12 per person and include access to the estate (excluding winery), a visitor leaflet with additional information points located around the site, and a taster of two wines.

The self-guided tours run from April to September, every Friday and Saturday. Days are split into mornings & afternoons and limited to 20 guests per session so it is advised you pre-book your place online.

Visitors are welcome to bring their own picnic. (Note: Astley Vineyard does not have any hot drink or catering facilities)  Well behaved dogs are welcome, but must stay on leads the entire time. Under 18s are welcome for a reduced fee (£4) but of course cannot have wine. A small range of soft drinks are available.

Accessibility: Access to the vineyard is via a sloped uneven path through a wooded valley.  Customers with walking difficulties are advised that the walk may be too difficult for some. All customers are advised to wear sensible shoes for the walk.

Asley Vineyard is a family run vineyard and one of the oldest in the UK. They produce boutique, award- winning English wine and have a strong focus on sustainability and community. Find out more about Astley Vineyard and what their self guided tours offer on the link below:
