The Fold, Bransford, Worcestershire is a not-for-profit community interest company whose mission is to provide inspiration, education, therapy and practice towards healthy, sustainable, creative lifestyles. This is done this by running enterprises that support the local economy and promote environmentally sustainable practices. The Fold is a lively and diverse organisation and includes a farm shop, a café, craft businesses, a therapy centre, workshops, classes, monthly markets, nature trails, venue hire space and more.
Set on an organic farm in the Teme Valley, the market garden provides the local shop, café, veg box scheme and local wholesalers with organic produce year-round. The market garden and nature trails also form part of the Care Farm offering at The Fold which is run on Tuesdays & Wednesdays providing interactive & alternative education format nature and art-based sessions for adults with support needs in the local community.
4 Seasonal Saturday Family market days have been planned in for 2022 with the key objectives being engagement, learning, creativity and fun for the whole family!
The aim is to encourage a love of & respect for the natural world, as well as promoting curiosity and excitement around what the changing seasons offer us through nature and the food we see growing on the land.
The market days are designed to offer entertainment and creative interactive sessions for the whole family to engage with, alongside market traders, café, farm shop and local artisan studio stalls that are permanent features of the site.
Saturday 16 July 2022 is our Summer Family Market and runs from 2-5pm
Parking is free. Dogs are welcome. Under 5s go free. General admission is £3.
Expect lots of crafts, gifts, homewares, food and drink accompanied by live interactive performances.
The kids will absolutely love Drum Love – running drumming circles, as well as live music.
Get away from screens and out the house for a few hours, spend some valuable family time exploring, playing, drumming, dancing and learning together – alongside a huge amount of creative talent.
