There have been 10 wonderful years of Malvern Cube, Community & Arts Centre, in Albert Park Road North. With bands, theatre, comedy, workshops, skateboarding, markets, classes, the Youth Club and much much more.
On 1 May 2022 Malvern Cube will be holding a Ceilidh with the Silurian Big Band. The first event held at the Cube when Malvern Youth & Community Trust took over the building exactly 10 years ago was a Ceilidh and the ticket prices are the same £5! The Cube would like to welcome the community to this celebratory birthday bash – the bar will be open! A special appearance will be made by the Very Grimm Brothers and, if you don’t feel like dancing, there will be plenty of seating for watching all of the entertainment. Please get your tickets from the Cube or online by following the link below and support the Cube which is entirely run by an independent Charity, an army of volunteers, and a small staff team.
AND – AN EXHIBITION OF THE HISTORY OF THE ICONIC 1960S YOUTH CENTRE OPENS
Also on May 1 2022 an exhibition will open at the Cube in which memories about the Youth Centre covering its history back to 1966, provided by the community and archival research, will be on display. Malvern Youth Centre – A Retrospective will open to the public at 4.00 p.m. on Sunday 1 May and will be available to view throughout the month of May at the Cube.
