Over 30 years Upton upon Severn has established a reputation for attracting visitors to its wide variety of music festivals; with Blues, Jazz, Folk, Rock and Chill music all on offer. These festivals are well supported by the town centre with its venues, traditional pubs, cafes and selection of quirky independent shops.

Upton Folk Festival: 3 – 6 May 2024
Upton Folk Festival is a music festival that takes place at multiple locations in Upton-upon-Severn.
The festival usually has Morris and other dance groups plus Ceilidhs, concerts, workshops, craft fair, music and song sessions, street theatre, a grand procession, stalls, juggling, and other activities on the riverbank.
There’s a whole host of free, fun and family-friendly entertainment for everyone.
Upton Jazz Festival: 28 – 30 June 2024
Upton Jazz is being held on the 28 – 30 June , and again will offer ‘Jazz for Upton’ with free access to jazz music alongside a ticketed concert programme with some of the UK’s best jazz musicians.
Minge Lane Festival: 27 July
Upton has been voted as the as the town with the rudest street name and, to celebrate, residents and visitors alike are invited to dress up in their silliest costume and enjoy the pubs, shops, cafes and atmosphere of Upton upon Severn.
Upton Blues Festival: 19 – 21 July 2024
Upton Blues Festival has grown from a small event in 2002 in just a couple of pubs with only 19 gigs into a festival that fills the town with many thousands of music fans, two main stages, an acoustic stage and thirteen pub venues creating over 160 free performances in 2019 over three days! The festival promises to be as big and bold as ever this year.
