Malvern Well Dressing & Water Festival 29 April – 8 May 2022
Head to the Malvern Hills and the hillside town of Malvern (29 April – 8 May 2022) to see one of the region’s largest annual outdoor community arts project during the Malvern Well Dressing & Water Festival when the wells, springs and spouts are lovingly dressed in creative designs by residents, local community groups and schools. This year there are over 50 wells, springs, and spouts to discover all dressed up in this year’s theme ‘Literature’ playing homage to the area’s literature connections.

The Blue Magpie Contemporary Fair Sat 30 April–Sun 1 May
Open from 10am-5pm
Elmslie House organise two very popular, contemporary craft fairs a year. A number of makers and crafters sell their fantastic makes in the beautifully restored Elmslie House.
There will be over 50 makers exhibiting per day along with live music, sculptures, light lunches and pimms in the garden.
£3 per person for the whole weekend (children under 16 free)
Malvern Cube 10th Birthday Celebration Ceilidh – 1 May 2022
On the evening of 1 May The Cube will celebrate just as it did 10 years ago – with a Ceilidh (energetic dancing to traditional folk music!). Everyone of whatever age is welcome to join for a night of ceilidh dancing, music and to meet old friends. The bar will of course be open! Music is by the amazing Silurian Big Band with experienced callers to guide you through the dances. Plenty of seating will be provided for those who prefer to just watch and enjoy the atmosphere, or to just listen to the music.

The Fold Sunday Market – 1 May 2022
The monthly markets that held at The Fold are a way to connect with and support local, ethical and sustainable businesses and products. You will find a wide variety of products on offer from organic vegetables, jams and beer to plastic free lifestyle goods, paintings, and jewellery with more stalls added every month!
Little Malvern Court & Gardens Open Day – 2 May 2022
The Little Malvern Court Gardens will be open as part of the National Garden Scheme.
10 acres of gardens attached to a former Benedictine Priory with lakes, spring bulbs, roses and topiary hedge.
Refreshments available.
Pre-booking is available and encouraged. Open from 2-5pm.
The Mayors Peaks Challenge – 30 April 2022
Join a long or short organised walk on the Malvern Hills and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
Long Walk: 15 km (approx 6-8 hours) walking over all the seventeen peaks of the Malvern Hills.
Coaches leave The Coach House Theatre between 8-9am to take walkers to the starting point.
Shorter Walk: 7km (3-5 hours) walking the main section of the Malvern Hills.
Shuttle buses will take you from The Coach House Theatre to the hills from 10:15 until 11:30am.
Both walks finish in the car park of the Mount Pleasant Hotel in Great Malvern. All walkers will be presented with a special medal by the Mayor of Malvern. All accompanying dogs will also get a rosette!
Entrance fees will be donated to the DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal
Long Walk: Adult £20, Child £10

Hanley Swan Open Gardens 30 April – 2 May 2022
A very popular annual event to raise money for Hanley churches which takes place Sat 30 April – Mon 2 May from 12 noon-5pm daily.
Enjoy 16 Eclectic gardens around the village of Hanley Swan and fabulous platinum jubilee flowers.

Malvern Artisan Craft Market – 30 April 2022
Malvern Artisan Craft Market is a monthly craft market in the centre of Great Malvern based at Lyttelton Well Hall. Two floors of local crafters, makers and artists showcasing some of their favourite products. A great opportunity to find some unique gifts and treats.
