Event Description

Join us at The Firs this December for a very special festive concert in a lovely setting with Christmas decorations and festive lights.

On 1 December 2024, we’ll be joined by two graduates of the Royal Academy of Music: baritone Johannes Moore and pianist Ilan Kurtser. They will be performing some traditional Christmas carols and songs and oratorio arias in English and German, including works by Vaughan-Williams, Bach and Handel.

Finish off the day by soaking up the atmosphere at Elgar’s first home decorated with traditional Christmas decorations and explore the quaint English cottage garden. Stop off at Little Al’s café for consistently great and fair-trade coffee, refreshing teas and a selection of brunch favourites.

Booking is essential and tickets cost £15 (normal admission applies).
