Event Description

The walk starts from Ledbury Railway station and follows the road initially through the main street of Ledbury then turning left up to the church (toilets available here). Within a short distance we then cross a main road and take a steep track up through woods to the top of a ridge. The walk crosses fields and passes close to Eastnor Castle (toilets available here). We then start to climb up the Malvern Hills (steep) eventually reaching the Obelisk where we will have a coffee/banana break. We then continue up and over hills to British Camp where there is an opportunity to have refreshments (tea/coffee) at the cafe (toilets available here). From here we walk around the hills to reach the Wyche (more toilets available here) and then up and over the Worcestershire Beacon before descending to Great Malvern past St. Anne’s Well. On reaching Great Malvern and taking more refreshments if wanted, we proceed to Great Malvern Railway station. Fabulous views in all directions along the way.
