Majestic trees, complemented by superb architecture, make this walk one of the most beautiful and intriguing walks, linking the town to the hills.
View the Priory (just from the outside) but later locate the 2 green men held within; weigh in with the remaining cedars, as well as a marvellous Holm oak and find the giant red.
As we walk through the town, and fairly steeply up to St. Ann’s Well, we’ll find Victorian rural tree planting as carefully thought out as the town planting.
Both walks, 16am and 16pm, are repeated on Sunday 26 May, (MWF24am and MWF24pm)
