Event Description

A short but lovely circular walk that starts and ends from the town of Tenbury Wells’ free car park near the Burgage. This walk takes in the quiet Rhyse Lane (also a popular quiet cycle route) that will take you down the Teme Valley in parallel with the river and then it turns uphill through the Kyrewood and nearby fields. It then starts to descend through further open sheep fields and eventually it runs along a contour up above the local Kyre Brook through quiet fields. The final section runs aside arable fields and then into the back of the town where you swiftly reach your starting point back in the main car park.

Given the short length of the walk we should finish at approximately lunch time back in the town. There are lots of places to then either eat a packed lunch afterwards or you can pop into one of the town’s many pubs or cafes should you prefer too.

Sturdy footwear recommended.

3 stiles and up and down of 500 feet.
